Triumph Of King Louis XIV

The Triumph of King Louis XIV was painted by Joseph werner II. The painting depicts louis XIV as apollo, the greek god of light.  Joseph depicts Louis as a god of light because he wants to show the citizens that Louis is a good king and he is going to help the people. In the picture louis is shining which draws all the attention towards him. He is also being depicted as the savior of the people. In the picture louis is also being drawn by colorful horse while riding on a chariot.  In the picture louis is shown being admired by the people. Louis is led by Aurora, greek goddess of the dawn.
