I’m really starting to get addicted to this rococo style, can you tell? I mean who wouldn’t?

In this special painting you see the all time famous madame de pompadour. A whole episode of doctor who about her, that’s what this women deserved, and got. That’s not even it, she was a part of the french court – which at the time was pretty rare for a woman – and the kings official advisor and aide. Besides the whole most epic women of the year thing, I mean she also had an amazing style. That ones not a shocker though, whatever you do, do it in style. If you’ve read my previous posts you know i’m a sucker for color and contrast, and boy does this dress have those. Though probably this dress looks so bright from the painting style it’s still stunning, teal and blush pink are two colors I never would have  thought of together and  that’s probably because they really don’t work. That’s where pompadour comes in, no one could pull these off besides her. So really, this women’s a winner.
